MHS Return to School Plan

This has been quite an adventure we have all been on since last March 16th. In every adventure comes the fun and excitement of delving into the unknown and figuring out how to maneuver the bumps in the road in a positive, fun way. As teachers, we have learned a lot over the past few months and have emerged with a better understanding of a student-centred pedagogy that is engaging and hands-on. As an MHS staff, we are also excited with the prospects of being able to see everyone again face to face, and look forward with anticipation to a scenario 1 school year start-up. We have many fun, exciting, and engaging options and activities to offer students this year, laid out beside, what I believe, are the best academic classes in the Province.

At the beginning of every new school year, there are things we need to do to try to ensure a positive environment of safety, physical and mental health, engagement, and continual learning for all. In this COVID reality we embrace, this year will be no different. To this end, WWSD and MHS  have developed this document to help us all smoothly get back into the swing of face to face education. When you get a minute, please take a look at the list below and let me know if you have any questions.

If students have not done so yet, please register for classes online by logging in at and selecting the class registrations in the left toolbar. If you are having trouble please call the school or come in the week of August 24th and we will help you through it.

Thank you for all of your support as we move into this new school year. Please let me know if you have any questions.
